The grain leather
It does not mark easily
The grain is raised and even, so a knock does not leave the mark it would leave on a flat finish. It does not crack or peel where the shoe flexes. Made to be worn every day, for years.
The fit
It takes your shape and keeps it
There is no lace to adjust: the shoe gives where your foot needs it and holds firm everywhere else. After a few wearings it sits as though it were made for you, and it keeps that shape instead of stretching out.
Henry Xford · Closing
This pair is made for the last time.
We are closing the workshop, and there is no restock. When this size sells out, it is gone for good.
The shop is still open. Every order still ships, free, anywhere in the world.
What our customers say
Real photos from our customers

Booked a table, threw them on with a blazer and jeans. Sleek toe shape is what sold me.

slip-on is exactly the point. Took two seconds and looked right with dark denim at lunch.

Used them on an airport run and they were simple the whole way. Slip-on loafers make security less of a headache.

The second colour is the one I kept reaching for. Works with denim, but still sits fine under tailoring.

at the restaurant terrace, the loafers sat low and neat with trousers. Little snug at first, then fine.

The horsebit pair at the bookshop felt solid and easy. Bit of break-in, but nothing annoying.

Getting out of the car, these still looked sharp with a suit. No laces, no messing around.

Morning at home, no fuss at all. Just stepped in, grabbed coffee, and the penny strap detail looks clean.

Everything you need to know about the closing sale, sizing, shipping, returns and warranty.
HENRY XFORD is closing its doors. Every pair still on the shelf leaves at a fraction of what it cost to make, and the 80% is already reflected in the price you see. Not a promotion. A farewell on our own terms.
Every product page has its own size guide with EU, UK, US and centimetre conversions. Trace your foot, measure heel to longest toe, and match it to the table. Our shoes run true to size; if you are between two sizes, take the larger one — leather softens and moulds to your foot within the first week.
No. This is the final run. Each size was made once and will not be produced again. When a size sells out, it leaves the site for good — if you find your size available, it is the last time you will.
Every pair is cut, lasted and finished by hand, on full-grain leather that softens and moulds to the foot. They are built to be resoled and worn for years, not replaced.
